An Approach to Belief Systems in The Light of Brain Functions, Evolution Theory, The Cosmos and Quantum Theory

Abstract: A lot of studies have backed the view that the temporal lobe’s magnetic activation causes the feelings of God, feelings of oneness and union, and the feeling of talking to divine entities. Van Gogh, Dostoyevski and Joan of Arc are some of the people who have experienced this. Some of them inverted their feelings into art by using the inspiration the feelings provided to create masterpieces. Others may have wanted everybody to live in the peace and divinity that they lived. The brain’s functions, hormones and the physical activity of the body influence the person. When the feeling in the temporal lobe is triggered, God feelings arise, so we can say that the functions of the brain are supporting the belief systems. Evolution Theory supports them as well, because gathering round a story renders the society strong and enables them to survive and reproduce. There are many other physiological and psychological reasons why people need belief systems; however, discoveries about the Cosmos and quantum theories do not support these belief systems.

Parents who try to teach responsibility and discipline to their children must first behave the way they expect their children to behave. To build a good relationship, they have to instill and reinforce confidence by giving them proper tasks according to their age and capacity. Children should be taught morality and ethics. They should be presented the opportunities to improve themselves and be guided on the path of life in the best way possible. Parents should share effective time with their children. They should try to improve themselves as well as their children to set an example for their children. Parents must teach their children the ways to deal with their feelings and with life, instilling strength and durability in them. One of the first things they should teach their children is to take pleasure in being now and being alive. There are many ways to support the children so that they can grow up with high emotional quotient and be creative adults. Children must be taught the way of positive thinking. PERCEPTION AT THE QUANTUM LEVEL

Abstract:For us to survive we need to detect and recognize our environment. We are equipped with our sensory organs and nervous system so that we can sense the stimuli and interpret the data to maintain our lives. We have five senses; touch, sight, sound, smell and taste, and also, we have the ability of proprioception (detecting changes in body positions and information) which is very useful for our social relations to detect cues about people and relationships. Interpretation process is affected by many factors, genetics, personality, brain functions, hormones, consciousness, mindfulness, subconscious, prejudices, beliefs, experience, past lives, desires, needs, motivations, expectations, aims, psychological and emotional state, socio-economical state, family structure, cultural and educational state. During the process of perception many cognitive conditions are processed at the level of quantum ground. All the senses, thoughts and emotions have the same basis as the other matter in the universe, and this basis is called string. Strings vibrate and have frequencies. They emanate energy. If we are aware of these energies and frequencies, we may easily be aware of our perceptions and others’ perceptions as well. We may follow, detect, harness and control our perception so that we may transform our lives.

Astrological and Mythological Characters Intersecting With Each Other And Jung’s Archetypes

Abstract: The universe is 13,5 billion years old, and our World is 4,5 billion years old according to the measurements of the Hubble telescope. The first human ancestors known appeared seven million years ago, however; various species had evolved before Homo Sapiens some of which are: homo habilis, homo erectus, Neanderthals… According to the celestial religions the truth is so different from what science discovers. However, science is constantly progressing and renewing itself even if sometimes it refuses new discoveries and prefers to stay conservative. We are not sure about the Evolution Theory recently; it may be true or may not be. According to recent discoveries such as Göbeklitepe (Neolithic, archaeological site near Urfa in Turkey), humanity’s history has changed to BC 9500. We cannot be sure how old our ancestors are; however, we have common genes with them. Our origins may be from some distant stars. Mythological gods and goddesses may be the skillful, evolved, gifted people coming from other stars who have outstanding abilities. The myths and legends following each other throughout the world and the characters corresponding with each other may tell us that they were real characters once lived so long before. We still carry their genes and their characteristics in some way. We are a combination of these characteristics and archetypes. Mythology tells us about the creation of the universe, the world and humanity according to that specific culture and involves some elements that are not true. This does not mean that everything about it is false. It may involve some realities as well. Where did it come from? Why is it valid throughout the World? Astronomy, astrology, mythology and psychology are very intertwined. Astrology gives us the sky picture now of our birth, through horoscopes. Three main components; planets, houses (slices of the sky) and the zodiacs at the birth moment shows us our potentials, our character, our persona (how we are seen from outside) and how we sense the world. This ancient and precious knowledge has accumulated since ancient Egyptians and maybe the Sumerians, based on observations. Astrology and mythology involve remarkably similar characters. Meanwhile Carl Gustave Jung’s archetypes involve remarkably similar characteristics to these characters. Observing all these may serve our journey of existence in many ways. We may make a true sense of life and manage it efficiently.
